References to Images broken when using "Pull HTML Content" Method  (United States)

First, let me say that this is an awsome module that does what no other can do.

I'm using the "Pull HTML Content" method to include HTML files that are local to the site.  Using the IFrame method just doesn't seem to work or look as good.  The problem is that all of the images are referenced in the HTML as residing in the same folder as the HTML. i.e. "src=image.gif" and none of the images will display in IE.  The HTML files are located in a folder under the portal root, i.e. /portals/0/HTML.  The funny thing is that the images display properly in Firefox.

Other than copying all of the HTML, images, and a lot of other "junk" to the root of the site, what can I do to make this work?

Thanks in advance.

Hi David,

One thing you could try is to add an html module above the iframe module and then put this html in

<base href="http://www.mysite.com/portals/0/HTML" />

Re: References to Images broken when using "Pull HTML Content" Method  (United States)

AMAZING!  It worked!  But not in an HTML Module.  I had to put in the DNN "Page Header" for the page.

Which prompts a question or two.  There are other graphics displayed on the page that are in different folders.  Why does it not bother them?  Does this only affect images that are not referenced with a full or partial path?  Could there be any "gotchas" with other graphic elements on the page if I use this method?

Thanks in advance and thanks so much for the solution!

Re: References to Images broken when using "Pull HTML Content" Method  (United States)

Well, I spoke too soon.  After some testing, the fix works for the IFrame content, but breaks other graphics on the page if they use any sort of relative reference.

Any other suggestions?.
